I’m Alex, a part-time traveller and full-time blogger and digital nomad originally from London, UK but based in Santiago, Chile. I live and breathe travel, wellness and fitness, all powered by plant-based food. I encourage a sustainable and eco-conscious way of travelling. My passion is to share my wellness-focused travels and adventures and inspire you to do the same.
I left the UK back in 2012 in pursuit of my dream to travel the world and a more nomad way of living. I’ve always thought there was more to life than a 9-5 with the same routine, in the same office, in the same city day after day- it just didn’t agree with me. I began exploring what the world had to offer and I’ve never looked back. The most important things I’ve learned along the way is that health comes first and that you have to follow your dreams.
Roam and Thrive is my collection of the gems of this world, my tips on how to travel well and stay optimally healthy at the same time. This blog is for people who travel often but don’t want to leave their healthy eating or fitness routines behind. It’s also for those interested in wellness, travel, plant-based food and an itch to travel and discover. I’ve found my fair share of difficulties staying healthy and fit on the road and I’m here to offer my experiences for you to live your best life.
I travel to many countries across Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa, each place brimming with magic, charm, culture and delicious food and share it all with you. Sunset workout on a beach in Bali followed by a delicious, local meal? My idea of heaven.
