Hi, and welcome
Roam & Thrive is a female-centred travel blog made to inspire you to do just that. It’s designed to feed your wanderlust while maintaining a conscious and mindful lifestyle. We aim to inspire and enhance your travel experiences with uniquely curated, guides, photography and travel tips all grounded in a philosophy based on slow travel and a holistic, wellness-focused lifestyle.
Hi, I’m Alex, a full-time travel creative now based in Southern Italy (when I’m not travelling).
I love a life of flexibility, freedom and change which is why a nomadic lifestyle of travel appealed to me so much at a young age.
I was born and raised in London, England and in 2012, I left to travel the world. The 9-5 just wasn’t for me and I knew my life needed a lot more freedom. I had to live it on my own terms.
Since then, I’ve travelled to 50+ countries, lived in many of them and explored my passions of wellness, photography and beautiful spaces.
I found my flow in slow travel and really absorbing a travel destination rather than moving through a country in a matter of days.
I came to a point where I had far too many adventures, travel tips and hotspots to keep to myself so I started Roam & Thrive.
Roam & Thrive is a hub of conscious and slow travel written and curated by just me. It’s designed for the modern traveller to help you wander slowly, get inspired and experience places differently.
It’s a blog all about mindful travel, conscious luxury, nature, self-care and holistic wellness.
If that’s your jam, welcome.
Today, you’ll find me living in Puglia, Italy in the spring and summer months and travelling the rest of the time, curating travel guides and photographing incredible destinations, hotels and spas.
