It isn’t easy to describe the beauty of Greece destinations. With some of the most idyllic beaches and blue water in Europe, Greece is the perfect summer destination. 

With Santorini and Mykonos being firm island favourites for many, there are also many other incredible Greece destinations that the country has to offer. Far away from the crowds, you’ll find postcard-perfect white-washed houses, blue-domed churches and the best sunsets Europe has to offer. 

Start your Greece trip in Athens with a quick One Day in Athens Itinerary.  Don’t miss the ancient Acropolis Hill and the beautiful Plaka neighbourhood before continuing north or to any one of the idyllic Greek islands. 

With so many islands to choose from, choosing which to head to isn’t easy. Head to Paros or Milos for beautiful towns and beaches. If you prefer to avoid crowds try Ios, Sifnos or Folegandros, or spend the whole summer island hopping on a mission to find the clearest blue water. 

Don’t leave Greece without visiting Meteora, the UNESCO-listed clifftop monastery complex or the bustling northern city of Thessaloniki.
