The Best Boutique and Luxury Hotels in Mallorca
Can Ferrereta, Santanyi
Probably our favorite hotel in Mallorca is the stunning Can Ferrereta. Located in Santanyí in the southeast of Mallorca, close to some of the island’s best beaches, Can Ferrereta provides a tranquil oasis for your Mallorca vacation.
The boutique hotel showcases traditional Mallorca country house design with stone walls and modern, cutting-edge design. The stunning manor still has its original architectural features offering guests a true Mallorcan stay.
Natural and ochre colors are celebrated here and the decor is contemporary and just swoon-worthy. Expect a lot of stone but also touches of wood.
Rooms and suites are spacious and bright and have all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Service is impeccable. The hotel also has a beautiful garden and a large pool area- ideal for those lazy summer afternoons.
OCRE restaurant provides guests with 5-star gastronomy without having to go far and Sa Calma Spa delivers all your spa and wellness needs.
Can Ferrereta is just swoon-worthy and a must-stay for all design and wellness lovers.
Belmond La Residencia, Deia
During your time in Mallorca, you’ll no doubt visit Deia- one of Mallorca’s best hilltop, stone villages. There you’ll find Belmond La Residencia, one of the best hotels in Mallorca’s more hilly area.
This stunning property, located amid the beautiful stone cottages of Deia and Mallorca’s mountain views, is the ideal place to stay. Rooms here are seriously indulgent and the suites will definitely elevate your stay up a notch. They also have a beautiful three-bedroom villa perfect for groups and the bespoke Matthew Williamson Suite equipped with unique design, sun terrace, and private pool.
Belmond also has some of the most elegant restaurants in Deia. Even if you’re not staying at Belmond, make sure not to miss a sunset dinner at El Olivo (make sure to reserve in advance), the most romantic spot for dinner in town. You can also opt for tasty tapas at the Miró restaurant during the day.
The wellness centre is the place to spend at least one relaxing evening and if you’re not great at planning itineraries, La Residencia has many different experiences you can book too, from hiking and cycling to wine tasting.
Can Alomar is a luxury urban retreat found in the center of the old town of Palma de Mallorca. One of four stunning properties by IT Mallorca, who also own Sant Jaume, Can Cera, Hotel Calatrava, and Can Aulí in Pollença, this luxury, adults-only hotel is the best place to stay in Palma.
Housed in a 17th Century Palace, right over Paseo del Borne, this contemporary property is a gorgeous respite from the city. Book yourself into any one of their superior suites and you’ll enjoy Mallorca’s warm air from a garden-view private terrace.
The rooftop terrace provides a lovely spot to enjoy the sunshine and an inviting hot tub waits if the temperature changes. For guests wanting to get pampered, the Can Alomar spa has many different therapies available all using natural, locally made, vegan products.
Can Alomar really is a respite of calm while also being in Palma’s prime location.
Sant Francesc Hotel Singular
Another superior option for those planning on staying in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, make sure to look into Sant Francesc Hotel Singular. With slick, modern design, this former mansion is elegant, and design-focused and has all the amenities for the perfect Palma stay including a restaurant, lobby bar, and rooftop area.
One of the best spots to be is their lobby bar in the Majorcan courtyard where you can enjoy locally-inspired cocktails surrounded by art and olive trees.
Rooms at Sant Francesc are ultra-modern and design-forward. You can expect a lot of chrome and beige tones and a celebration of local design through carefully thought-out features, furnishings, and art. You’ll also find free wifi, room service, air-conditioned rooms, and flat-screen satellite TV in all rooms.
For lovers of modern design, service, and all-around seamless stays make sure to choose this exceptional hotel in Palma.

Hotel Glòria de Sant Jaume
On a quiet cobbled lane in central Palma, you’ll find the beautiful Hotel Glòria de Sant Jaume. This stunning boutique heritage hotel beautifully mixes luxury with traditional decor and modern amenities.
Rooms here are light, bright, and spacious, each with its own unique art and furnishings. The beds are flush and couldn’t be more comfortable. On-site you’ll also find a great dining room serving breakfast to all its guests.
One of the highlights is definitely the hotel’s wellness space, an underground oasis complete with hydromassage and pool as well as a personalized spa treatment or two you can choose from their complete spa menu.
Luxury Hotels Mallorca: Es Raco D’Arta
Most of you will already know we’re all about wellness-focused and slow travel and Es Raco d’Arta is a stay that fully embodies this. Es Raco D’Arta isn’t just a place to stay, it’s all about a space that connects you to nature and the simple Mallorcan life.
Through calming and airy interiors and encouragement to live a life of connections, a stay here will invite you to view things differently.
With just a few spacious rooms and residences, you’ll have peace, and privacy to fully integrate yourself into the natural environment, disconnect and find peace.
Their restaurant works with local suppliers to find the most delicious farm-to-table ingredients available and the food is fresh, delicious, and healthy. The spa offers a number of different treatments and a stunning, natural space to relax.
Es Racó also holds retreats throughout the year for those wanting to focus on wellness in this stunning hideaway.
One of my favorite design stays in Mallorca is the stunning Meem Townhouse in Sóller. Inside this beautifully restored, traditional townhouse you’ll find a refuge of just 7 suites in the center of Sóller. It’s the perfect peaceful stay to fully rest and disconnect.
Inside the guest rooms and suites, you’ll find carefully curated furnishings and art in stunning white and bright spaces. We just love the swoon-worthy, minimalist decor that just invites slow and restful stays.
We also love Meem Townhouse’s deep commitment to sustainability through its use of better, biodegradable products, on-site filtered water, and plastic-free philosophy.
Hotel Can Cera
The second of IT Mallorca’s properties on this list- we just can’t get enough of their beautiful design and style. At this 5-star hotel, they perfectly mix comfort and coziness with elegant and timeless decor- fully embodying their ‘home from home’ goal.
Can Cera is located in a 17th Century Mallorcan manor house. Each room and suite offers all the amenities you’d expect from a lavish, boutique property in the heart of Palma.
Art is also at the property’s core with many works on display throughout the hotel, from local artists- we particularly love the ceramics from Jaume Roig.
At Can Cera, you can also relax and enjoy beauty and wellness treatments from facials to Finnish saunas. The restaurant, La Vermutería is a delightful spot for wine and tapas to finish a fantastic day in Palma.
Luxury Hotels Mallorca: Finca Serena
For an idyllic country stay in the middle of Mallorca’s olive groves, look no further than Finca Serena. This farm stay surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards, gardens, and trails is ideal for those looking for nature, endless space and to get outside.
With just 25 bright rooms each decorated in natural and earth tones, aiding relaxation and comfort, a stay here is nothing short of dreamy.
The restaurant and dining options favor local, natural ingredients and Mallorca’s rich gastronomical heritage providing guests with some of the best culinary experiences in Mallorca.
The real highlight here, if that wasn’t already enough, is Único Spa, Finca Serena’s 250 sqm spa which includes a heated pool, sauna, hammam, and sun-filled veranda to relax on. Recently voted the best hotel spa in Spain. There’s a huge spa menu full of contemporary and classic treatments. Yoga, pilates, and Tai Chi classes are offered daily.
If you’re looking for the perfect space to retreat, get the most out of Mallorca’s landscape and nature, thrive on it’s healthy food and have access to yoga and other forms of movement then make sure not to miss Cal Reiet.
Located in Santanyí, Cal Reiet makes the perfect base from which you can leisurely explore the island and it’s best beaches. Book yourself into one of their dreamy and calming rooms and enjoy morning yoga classes, plant-based meals and the gorgeous gardens which includes a 20 sqm pool.
